Difference between Lace Front & Full Lace Wig
Hey everybody, my name is Danii and this is going to be a video about what is better between a lace front wig and a full lace wig. So, first and foremost, I want to tell you guys, what’s the difference between the two. A lace front wig is a wig that has lace from ear to ear. A full lace wig has lace all around.
Now, when it comes to which one is better, it really depends on what it is that you’re trying to do. If you’re trying to do a style that is very versatile, I highly recommend a full lace wig as you have lace all around the hair. So, no matter if you’re trying to do a half up, half down, if you’re trying to do two braids, if you’re trying to do like a really high pony or whatever it is that you’re trying to do, I highly recommend a full lace wig, because it’s just more versatile.
Now, if you’re not trying to do much, but you still want your edges to be very versatile, I highly recommend a lace front wig. And there are two different lace front wigs. We have hair 13 by 4 and 13 by 6. 13 by 4 has a small part in space in the front. It goes about four inches thick, just about four inch parting space. And 13 by six are the ones that you see, that are really long and go all the way to the middle of your head. Both are great, especially if you’re familiar with wigs.
With any type of wig, you do have to understand the science behind it. Now, you can always learn, but when it comes to wigs, you have to understand the science behind it. You have to know how the lace will look on you. You have to know how to blend the lace. You have to know how to keep your wig secure. Because if you don’t, then that’s what gives you that wiggy look. And when it comes to these two types of wigs, I always prefer a lace front wig. I’m not the type that wants to have my wig in a high ponytail. I’m not the type that would want to wear two braids in my wig. I stick to one style per wig and that’s how I do that. Not everyone has the luxury of having multiple wigs for multiple different styles, but since I do, I don’t really get into the full lace wigs.
